This painting is as a result of a painting trip to the Amalfi Coast with some of my painting buddies. Sorento was our base so we got to see a lot of it and taste their wonderful food and wine, and of course paint in the piazzas, streets and marinas, in between day trips to the surrounding towns of Ravello, Positano, Amalfi and the Isle of Capri.
